What’s it all about?
Jamie and I have been friends since school, a while back.
A couple of years ago Jamie, who had never been an endurance type guy and didn’t own a bike, decided to do a four day 300 mile long cycle ride for charity. It was a bit emotional!
I was super proud of my old mate and having just completed an online donation I jokingly said to him, “I wish there was a box I could tick to buy you a pint afterwards to say well done.”
And that got me thinking…..

What’s the bigger picture?
As it turns out there are a lot of Jamie’s out there… millions of them.
Giving up a bit of personal time and energy to help others is a wonderful thing and yet we very rarely celebrate everyday acts of kindness.
We want people to be proud of their achievements, big or small, from life changing challenges to helping your neighbours out. This is the stuff that makes the world go around.
By bringing good people and good local businesses together we help create communities which openly support one another and ultimately benefit great causes.
Users are encouraged to continue doing wonderful things. Local businesses prosper while supporting kindness in the community. Charities benefit from increased participation and fresh income.
